Acts Study Book | She Reads Truth

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” —Acts 1:8 Just prior to Pentecost, Jesus told His followers that the Holy Spirit would empower them to carry His gospel throughout the world. The book of Acts follows the early Church as it fulfills Jesus’s words, in spite of outside threats and persecution. This action-packed narrative is more than a historical account. It is the story of Jewish and Gentile believers learning how to live out the gospel together in community as the family of God.  Over six weeks, we will read all twenty-eight chapters of the book of Acts.
